United States (B1/B2, F-1, H-1B)
DS-160 online. Visa fee USD 185. Documents in English; translations need translator's certification but typically not embassy legalization. Bank statements 6 months. Property ownership documents helpful for ties-to-home-country.
United Kingdom
Online application + biometrics at VFS Bangkok. Documents in English or translated with translator's name, signature and contact. UKVI does not require MFA legalization for visit visas; settlement visas need full legalization chain.
China
Notarised, MFA-legalized and Chinese-embassy-legalized for business invitations, marriage certificates, birth certificates. Tourist visas need confirmed itinerary + hotel + return flight only — no legalization needed.
Japan
Translation into Japanese or English. No legalization for tourist visa. Working visa requires Certificate of Eligibility issued by Japanese sponsor; original documents in Japan, not Thailand.
South Korea
K-ETA for tourist visa-free. Long-stay needs translated + notarised criminal background check; MFA + Korean embassy legalization.
Australia
NAATI translations mandatory for all non-English documents. No embassy legalization required if NAATI seal is present. Police Clearance + medical exam for permanent migration.
Canada
Translation by certified translator; if not certified, translator's affidavit sworn before a Canadian notary or commissioner. IRCC accepts MFA translation + IRCC-style affidavit prepared by Thai NSA.
