Birth, marriage, divorce, and death certificates need to be issued (or re-issued) within the last 6 months for most Austria institutions. We translate them into German (gerichtlich beeideter Übersetzer) and verify spellings against passport details.
Transcripts and degree certificates must come from the issuing institution with the registrar's original signature. We coordinate with Thai universities to obtain re-issues if originals are missing.

Since Thailand joined the Hague Apostille Convention in Dec 2024, an Apostille from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs is sufficient for Austria in most cases. Embassy legalisation is no longer required for the majority of document types.
