Two service tiers
Express service costs THB 1,000 per stamp and is ready the next working day. Normal service costs THB 400 per stamp and is ready in three working days. Pricing is per stamp, not per document — a five-page contract requires only one stamp.
What you must bring
(1) Original document with notarial seal already affixed, (2) one set of clear photocopies, (3) MFA submission form (downloadable), (4) ID card or passport copy of the document owner, (5) original power of attorney if a third party submits on your behalf.
Walk-in vs agent
Walk-in at Chaeng Watthana means queueing from 07:30; the office accepts submissions until 14:30 but practical cut-off is 11:00 due to volume. Licensed agents drop off documents in bulk and use a dedicated counter — turnaround is unchanged but you avoid the queue and lose half a day of work.
Common pitfalls
Documents submitted without the notarial seal are returned. Black-and-white scanned 'originals' are rejected. Photocopies must be single-sided. Names on the document and on the ID must match exactly — even a missing middle name causes rejection.
