Chinese Embassy
Appointment via the China Consular Service portal mandatory. Submission Mon–Fri 09:00–11:30. Fees THB 2,500–4,500 per document depending on category. Pickup 5–7 working days later. Common rejections: missing notarial seal, translation not done by MFA translator, name discrepancy between Chinese and English versions.
US Embassy
US Embassy Bangkok does NOT legalize Thai documents for use in the United States — the United States accepts the Hague Apostille from member countries, and since Thailand is not a member, the embassy refers applicants to use Thai documents 'as-is' with English translation. Many US institutions accept MFA legalization without embassy stamp.
German Embassy
Online appointment via the embassy portal. Fee EUR 30–50 per page. Turnaround 1–3 working days. Strict on translation quality — request a translator who has previously worked with German Embassy.
Australian Embassy
Notarial services (apostille-equivalent) available Mon–Fri. Fee AUD 100 per document. Turnaround 1 working day. Most efficient embassy for legalization; appointments easy to secure.
UAE Embassy
Two-step process: documents must be pre-attested by the Thai Chamber of Commerce before submission to the embassy. Fees THB 3,000–5,000 per document. Turnaround 7–10 working days. Plan a full month for UAE legalization.
